Essentia Health is seeking a Genetic Counseling Assistant to support genetic counselors in delivering compassionate, patient-centered care. In this role, you will gather and enter family and medical histories, coordinate referrals, obtain records, and help prepare charts for genetic counseling visits. You will schedule patients, manage documentation, and assist with insurance authorizations and test requisitions. Working closely with a collaborative care team, you’ll educate patients on logistics of genetic testing and ensure accurate, timely communication, contributing to high-quality, holistic care and a supportive clinic environment.
