Role Description The Store Manager is a full-time, on-site role located in the Little Rock Metropolitan Area, responsible for overseeing all daily operations of a Family Dollar store. This role includes leading and scheduling team members, ensuring excellent customer service, and maintaining a clean, organized, and safe store environment. The Store Manager monitors inventory levels, manages merchandising and visual standards, and supports pricing and promotional activities to drive sales and store profitability. They oversee cash handling, implement retail loss prevention procedures, and ensure adherence to company policies and regulatory requirements. The Store Manager also handles performance coaching, hiring support, and training, while fostering a positive, inclusive workplace culture aligned with Family Dollar’s values. Qualifications Strong customer-focused skills, including Customer Satisfaction and Customer Service, with a commitment to creating a positive shopping experience. Effective Communication skills to interact with customers, team members, and leadership, and to provide clear direction and feedback. Proven Store Management experience, including daily operations, staffing, scheduling, and inventory oversight in a retail environment. Knowledge of Retail Loss Prevention practices to minimize shrink, ensure accurate cash handling, and promote a secure store environment. Additional beneficial qualifications: prior multi-department retail experience, basic financial and merchandising skills, familiarity with POS systems, and the ability to stand, walk, and lift merchandise as required. Demonstrated leadership abilities, including team coaching and problem-solving; high school diploma or equivalent required, with some college or retail management training considered a plus. #J-18808-Ljbffr
